In an industry where appearance is everything, 48-year-old supermodel Cindy Crawford is earning praise for her decision to pose in a bikini with the photo not being touched up in any way. [caption id=“attachment_2101827” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  Twitter[/caption] The image, which was leaked on Friday, comes from a December 2013 Marie Claire Mexico and Latin America December 2013 cover story, reports hollywoodlife.com. It is unclear who had posted the photograph, but fans are showing support for the model for still looking young at the age of 48. Crawford gave a timely quote to the magazine she snapped this photograph for last month, while promoting her new documentary film “Hospital in the Sky”. Many agreed, including actor Jamie Lee Curtis, who applauded the image on Twitter and shared an image of herself in skivvies. “Bravo Cindy Crawford,” she said. “Beauty is truth, truth beauty, that is all Ye need to know on earth, and all Ye need to know.” Marie Claire calls it— real, honest, and gorgeous. “I really think…at any age…it’s learning to be comfortable in your own skin,” she told Marie Claire in an interview.
“If women would treat themselves with the same kind of love they give to their friends, that would be such a great gift we could give ourselves. What makes you the most attractive is self-confidence. That’s what people see,” she added. However, Cindy’s husband Rande Gerber won’t let any unretouched photo stop him from thinking his wife is gorgeous. He posted a bikini-clad pic of the supermodel looking hotter than ever and wrote a sweet message about his Valentine.
I think Cindy Crawford doing that untouched photo-shoot is brilliant. She is still an absolute beauty....and a genuine one at that.
