A journey one will always remember.[/caption] Johnnie Walker ‘The Journey’ arts and music festival at Mehboob Studio was an evening one could have only dreamt of. With remarkable artistes, fascinating people and breathtaking performances; the blend was spot on. Here is an event report for those who missed out on this epic festival which saw international artistes presenting their art exclusively to Indian audience: ‘If These Walls Could Talk’ showcased exceptional theater that no one here had experienced before. Such powerful storytelling through physical theatre, an intense plot and a vintage set– defined the charm brought alive by Dislocate. The screening of ‘One Chance’ - Paul Potts’ inspiring autobiographical film accompanied with his extraordinary opera singing, instantly uplifted the spirit of the festival. As we walked on, Snarky Puppy was next in line to take us on a journey so incredibly enjoyable, it was almost unreal. The way the elaborate instruments, catchy vocals and fun personalities of the band members worked together was a pleasure to witness. The perfect end to #TheJourney began as Bonobo LIVE played his surreal set. Down tempo yet upbeat, melodic yet experimental, elevating yet grounded –Simon Green’s music felt nothing short of pure magic. We were delighted by the presence of all the wonderful fans and are awaiting our next meeting at Johnnie Walker The Journey 2015. This is a sponsored article.
