Apple launched its iPhone 6 and a ‘watch’. And, this time Apple went bigger– the new iPhone 6 is 4.7-inch device, while the iPhone 6 Plus is a 5.5-inch device. Now, whether it is really worth your money or not is a different question. But, guess who actually stole the show? A supposed-to-be-geeky game developer rocking a bob and a purple infinity scarf. Dressed in a faded button down with a purple knit scarf, Gaming executive Tommy Krul was way more cooler than even Apple’s first smart watch. [caption id=“attachment_1706113” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Screen grab.[/caption] At the event, Krul came on stage to give a demo of the video game Super Evil Megacorp his company, Vainglory, developed for iPhone 6. While Krul played the game live, everyone’s attention was focused on vicinity of his neck. His purple scarf was so awe-inspiring that even before Krul left the event, he became an Internet sensation, according to DailyMail. Twitter was flooded with posts about the ‘scarf guy’. And the scarf already has its own Twitter account with the handle @KeynoteScarf. But the hilarious reactions from Twitterati was truly entertaining. Some went even as far as to say that for coming Halloween they will go as the ‘scarf guy’.

Purple Scarf Guy is how I imagine all Apple fanatics to look like. (Confession: Writing this on my MacBook Air because hypocrisy.)

I've stopped caring about the Apple conference so I can enjoy all the jokes being made about Infinity Scarf Guy instead. Totally worth it.

What if that guy's scarf is the Apple wearable? Forget the wrist, it's all about the neck!
