Local Monsters is Basu’s latest work and while it’s not quite as fabulous a story as Turbulence, it’s got some great characters like, for instance, Latex Latha. She may sound a bit like Silk Smitha — perhaps that’s why the artist chose to make her so uncomfortably oomphy — but Latha knows what to do with anyone who thinks she’s a pretty face on a hot body.
