Here's hoping! Christopher Nolan may attend IIT Mumbai's fest after all

IIT Mumbai still has reason to hope that Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan will attend their Mood Indigo fest after all.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror , the confusion over Nolan’s attendance occurred since his PR representatives were unaware that his manager had already confirmed the director’s attendance.

“The students did get in touch with Nolan through his manager, who confirmed his presence at Illuminati. The confusion occurred when his PR agency, which had not been kept in the loop, noticed the post on Twitter and denied Nolan was to visit,” _Mumbai Mirro_r quoted sources as saying.

A few days back, the Facebook page of IIT Mumbai, sported a picture of Nolan on it which also declared “IIT Bombay’s Mood Indigo Illuminati presents Christopher Nolan’. The poster also gave a date - 28 December.

Soon after, #NolanInIndia started trending on Twitter and apparently, that is when the director and his team got to know that they were scheduled to visit India.

A report on Hollywoodreporter.com stated, “Christopher Nolan will be honored in December by the big annual cultural festival organized by the students of the Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai.”

However, it adds, “A rep for Nolan says the director is unaware of the event and has no plans to attend.” The report also quoted the representative as saying, “The official spokesperson of Mood Indigo will be clarifying everything through a press release.”

But organisers are yet to issue any clarifications on the matter.
