For Harry Potter fans, 1 September is a very important day. It’s the day the that the Hogwarts Express leaves from the King’s Cross station in London to mark the beginning of the school year at Hogwarts. Reuters[/caption] But this year is even more special as according to the timeline of the Harry Potter books, 2015 is the year that Harry’s son, James Sirius Potter begins his schooling at Hogwarts. The books say that Harry is born in 1980 which makes 1991 his first year at Hogwarts and since the epilogue, which features Harry’s second son joining Hogwarts 19 years later, it means that 2015 is the year his first son joins the wizarding school. And to enhance these fan calculations author JK Rowling herself wished the young Potter good luck on Twitter and asked fans to say hi to him if they met hi at the station.

To take the Next generation story further, Rowling later tweeted that James S Potter has been sorted into Gryffindor, much to the disappointment of Head Boy Teddy Lupin who is in Hufflepuff. His House and position were two new bits of information about the teen son of deceased characters Remus Lupin and Tonks.

Fans, as expected, were ecstatic about this new information and #BackToHogwarts was trending worldwide on Twitter.

Some lucky fans actually elicited a reply from Rowling in her characteristic sassy manner

In fact, there were photographs doing the rounds online that King’s Cross, one of the biggest railway platforms in London, actually featured ‘Hogwarts Express’ on their indicator.

However, several people contradicted the image saying that it wasn’t from King’s Cross because the train times and destinations weren’t accurate.

Irrespective, the news that Hogwarts has another Potter now is enough to make fans nostalgic.
