Grumpy Cat made over $100 mn, earns more than Nicole Kidman, Christiano Ronaldo

Internet’s most famous cat has reportedly made $100 million in the last 2 years, but even the multi-million dollar fortune is not making her smile. She remains grumpy. Known for her perpetually unamused and angry expression–the ‘grumpy cat’ has earned more than Hollywood stars Nicole Kidman, Cameron Diaz, Matt Damon and even Oscar-winner Matthew McConaughey, reports Express. The cat is also outstripping some of the world’s top footballers including Christiano Ronaldo, whose total remuneration this year is estimated at £27.1 million. Grumpy Cat’s latest commercial project is an iced coffee line called Grumppuccino. The owner of the cat Tabatha Bundesen told Express in an interview, “I was able to quit my job as a waitress within days of her first appearance on social media and the phone simply hasn’t stopped ringing since.” Bundesen said the reason Tardar Sauce has a permanent scowl is because she was born with an underbite and dwarfism. Like all celebrities, Grumpy has an agent. A self-proclaimed “meme manager” Ben Lashes is reportedly behind making Grumpy a millionaire. According to an Independent article, Ben’s clients also include Keyboard Cat and Nyan Cat, as well as non-felines like Doge and Ridiculously Photogenic Guy.
