Disturbing video: Soccer star Diego Maradona filmed hitting his ex-girlfriend

A disturbing video of the soccer legend Diego Maradona was leaked this week allegedly showing him hitting his ex-girlfriend. The 30-second clip, originally aired by Argentine TV program “Nosotros al Mediodía,” shows an intoxicated Maradona appearing to strike former fiancee Rocio Oliva, who secretly filmed the attack on her cellphone. AFP[/caption] The video shows Maradona speaking to his ex, 24-year-old Rocío Oliva, aggressively before  he starts to hit her. At least that’s what it looks like. Maradona has denied attacking 23-year-old Rocío Oliva but has admitted to knocking the mobile out of her hand, reported Huffington Post. “I sent the phone flying but I swear by my children that I never raised my hand to a woman,” he said. “The story starts and finishes there,” he told an Argentine journalist. But, this is not the first time Maradona has been accused of domestic violence, points out  Sports Illustrated.
