Tuesday's Google Doodle celebrates the 114th birthday of Eiji Tsubaraya, pioneer of Japanese monster movies and the man behind Ultraman and Godzilla by letting you play a quick interactive game and then turning that into a movie.

One of the most celebrated special effects directors, Tsubaraya coined a style of live action film known as Tokusatsu. He also set up his own production house called Tsubaraya Productions years after being in the business. The director passed away in 1970 at the age of 68.

Through a series of ten steps, the doodle helps an user making their own version of a Tsubaraya movie by assisting actors in putting on their costumes, destroying tankers and spaceships and crushing houses by using giant monster trails.

And, it goes without saying that it features stomping godzillas as well!
