Carnatic musician Nithyashree's husband commits suicide

Chennai:  Noted carnatic musician Nithyashree’s husband Mahadevan allegedly committed suicide by jumping into Adyar river here today. 45-year old Mahadevan jumped into the river from the Kotturpuram Bridge and his body had been retrieved, police said. Police said they were ascertaining the reason behind Mahadevan’s extreme step.
