After the now iconic images of people climbing the outer walls of a school in Bihar to help students in their exams, comes the case of the UP board examinations in Lucknow where students used a different, but funnier approach, in an attempt to pass the exams. Not just religious invocations, some of the ‘answers’ could easily be a part of a comedy sketch. According to
this Times of India report,
some of the messages and warnings in the answer sheet pleading with examiners to pass them, include, “I couldn’t draw diagrams in all questions where they were required. I am so poor that my father could not buy a pencil for me. Please pass me” and “Don’t you dare fail me. I will commit suicide, turn into a ghost and come to haunt you”. Students who resort to alternate measures to pass their exams aren’t restricted to UP and Bihar alone. In fact, the internet will tell you that this is a global phenomenon. Here are some of the funny things students have written on answer sheets: This student who asks his teacher for love advice: I have a question for you. I just started texting this girl, and i know she thinks i’m cute but I don’t really know how to start a conversation. [caption id=“attachment_2188503” align=“alignnone” width=“500”]
