Over $14,000 raised to save 'abused' cat named Bruce Almighty

The best news of the day so far: An abused cat named Bruce Almighty is being saved by people from all over the World. After reading the poor cat’s plight and the circumstances under which it was found you too will want to donate money to help save him. The tape had severely restricted circulation and had caused massive tissue loss and infection in the extremities of his limbs. According to the animal protection society, four toes from each of the front paws had to be removed and the doctors may have to amputate his left leg due to the damage caused by the tape. The GoFundMe page called “Help bruce Almighty Recover” has gone viral and has so far surpassed its $5000 dollar goal, making three times the amount– $14,850. According to the fundraising page, any money raised in excess of the goal will be used to help other animals at the Shelter in need and will also be used to provide further animal protection and cruelty work by the trust. “The pain and suffering he has endured is unimaginable,” wrote a senior officer for the Regina Humane Society on their Facebook page.
