Further validating this momentum, Kochi has emerged as one of the top 10 most-searched Indian destinations by global travellers for the first half of the year.
According to Booking.com data from the first half of 2026 (January-June), Kochi is seeing a 30% jump in search interest compared to last year. Travelers seem to be drawn to its mix of spiritual wellness, nature experiences, and rich cultural heritage.
Keralam as a whole is also on the rise, ranking as the 3rd most searched state in India, with a 40% increase in searches over the same period.
