Stock Check: GAIL goes back to the drawing board

Here is our in-depth analysis on the list of 9 stocks we had put out this morning.

GAILwas a short sell call below Rs 464.55 with a target of Rs 445. The stock touched a low of Rs 457.50 on Tuesday and closed the day at Rs 461.20. We continue with our bearish sentiment on the stock and maintain the target.

IDFCwas a buy call which was not triggered on Tuesday.

Jindal Sawwas a sell call below Rs 157.70. The stock touched a low of Rs 157 on Tuesday, but closed the day higher at Rs 159.85. We maintain our target of Rs 151, but move the stop loss to Rs 160.85.

Neyveli Lignitewas a buy call above Rs 104.60 with a price target of Rs 110. The stock hit a high of Rs 105 on Tuesday, but closed near the low of the day at Rs 101.20. We have been stopped out of the trade at Rs 102.80.

We had given a sell call on Pantaloon below Rs 336.95 with a price target of Rs 310. The stock dropped to Rs 322.70 on Tuesday and closed at Rs 330. We maintain the price target for the stock.

PTCwas a buy call above Rs 85.75 with a target of Rs 92. However, the stock after touching a high of Rs 86.20 slipped to close near the low of the day at Rs 83.15. We have been stopped out of the stock at Rs 84.70.

ACCwas a buy call above Rs 995.05 with a target of Rs 1,040. The stock went up to a high of Rs 1,012.15, but closed the day lower at Rs 993.10. Though we maintain the target, we would move our stop loss to Rs 987.60.

Orchid Chemicalswas a buy call with a target of Rs 245. However, we have been stopped out of the trade at Rs 227.50 on Tuesday.

Renuka Sugarswas also a buy call with a target of Rs 80. The stock scaled a high of Rs 75.45 and closed the day at Rs 74.40 on Tuesday. We maintain the price target for the stock.

Educompwas a sell call below Rs 380 and a target of Rs 360. The stock plunged to Rs 365.50 and closed at Rs 368.65 on Tuesday. We maintain our target of Rs 360 for the stock.
