Stock check: Dr Reddy's gets its equations right

Here is our in-depth analysis on the list of 9 stocks we had put out this morning.

Tata Motors DVR was a buy call with a stop loss of Rs 535 and a target of Rs 560. The stock touched a high of Rs 549 on Thursday and closed the day at Rs 541.55. We continue with our target of Rs 560.

Our sell call on JP Associates below Rs 77.50 was not triggered on Thursday.

We had a sell call onDr Reddy’s Lab with a target of Rs 1,500. The stock came down to a low of Rs 1511.20, but closed higher at Rs 1,536 on Thursday.

Our sell call onReliance Communications below Rs 94.10 was not set off.

We have a sell call onAdani Power below Rs 109.80 which was triggered on Tuesday. On Thursday, the stock hit a low of Rs 109.50 and closed the day at Rs 110. Given that there was hardly any movement in the counter, we withdraw our call on the stock.

DLF was a sell call below Rs 213.60 with a target of Rs 206 which was triggered on Tuesday. The stock plunged to Rs 210 on Thursday and closed at Rs 210.35. We maintain our target of Rs 206.

GAIL was also a sell call which was triggered on Tuesday below Rs 453.30 with a target of Rs 435. The stock slipped to a low of Rs 439.05 on Thursday and closed at Rs 440. We continue with our target of Rs 435 on the stock.

Our sell call onMRPL was activated below Rs 76.50 on Tuesday. However, on Thursday, the stock moved higher and sparked off our stop loss above Rs 77.50.

ONGC was also triggered on the sell side below Rs 283 on Tuesday. The stock touched a low of Rs 273.30 on Thursday and closed at Rs 274.45. We continue with our bearish outlook on the stock and maintain the price of Rs 270.
