The BSE said it would add 11 new stocks from 9 July in its Mid-Cap index as part of its quarterly review.
The BSE has decided to include stocks of Essar Oil, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Religare Enterprises, KPIT Cummins Infosystems, Glodyne Technoserve, Vakrangee Software, NIIT Technologies, Jyothy Labs, Gateway Distriparks, State Trading Corporation of India and Elantas Beck India in BSE Mid-Cap Index with effect from 9 July , an official statement said.
The exchange has decided to exclude scrips of Marico, Polaris Financial Technology, Hindustan Construction, VIP Industries, Himadri Chemicals, SREI Infrastructure, Jai Corp and Rei Agro from BSE Mid-cap index, it said.

In the BSE-Small-Cap index, the BSE decided to add Polaris Financial Tech, Hindustan Construction, VIP
Industries. Himadri Chemicals, SREI Infra, Jai Corp, National Buildings Construction Corp, Asian Star Company, Speciality Restaurants, Rei Agro, Tribhovandas Bhimji, Zuari Agro, MT Educare, DCW Ltd, Kamat Hotels (India) and Krishna Ventures among few scrips with effect from July 9.
The BSE has also excluded Parabolic Drugs in BSE IPO index and Mindtree Ltd in place of VIP Industries in BSE-Tasis Shariah 50 index.
