Following allegations in a letter by Saradha chit fund boss Sudipta Sen alleging him of taking money, Assam Health and Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today decided to file a defamation suit against the chit fund scam kingpin.

"I will do that. Tomorrow my legal notice will go," Sarma tweeted out.
"I have faced many allegation in life and came out of it. A motivated allegation will not demoralize me at all. My conscience is clear," he said.
Meanwhile, Akhil Gogoi-led Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti demanded the dismissal of the minister from the Assam cabinet and his arrest besides calling for a thorough CBI inquiry into the chit fund scam.
Many small investors in Assam and West Bengal became bankrupt after the Saradha group went bust.
