9 stocks to watch out for today

The 9 stocks below are the top picks for the day across small-, mid- and large-cap companies that offer a wide array of choices to retail as well as long-term investors.

Aurobindo Pharma has bounced back from Rs 158 for the third time in the last four months. The stock has closed near the high of the day at Rs 164.15. The stock can move up to Rs 175 if it crosses Wednesday’s high of Rs 164.85.

Hindustan Oil Exploration has bounced back sharply after a drop from Rs 186 to Rs 162.50. The stock can bounce back to Rs 180 levels ones it crosses Wednesday’s high of Rs 173.25.

Infosys has also bounced back from its previous low of Rs 2707. The stock can rise to Rs 2775 on back of a good guidance by Cognizant, which is likely to improve sentiment for IT sector.

IVRCL Infra has seen unusually high volume after a fall from Rs 70 to Rs 53.60. Follow up buying can take the stock to Rs 60 levels.

JSW Energywas also a buy call with a price target of Rs 70. It touched a high of Rs 67.80 and closed at Rs 67.70 on Wednesday. We maintain our buy call and target for the stock.

We had a buy call onKotak Bankwith a price target of Rs 475. The stock climbed a high of Rs 463.60 and closed at Rs 459 on Wednesday. We maintain our buy call and target on the stock.

Dena Bankwas also a sell call with a target of Rs 80. The stock hit a low of Rs 81.65 on Wednesday and closed at Rs 83.95. We maintain our sell call and target for the stock.

Neyveli Lignitewas also a sell call with a target of Rs 92. The stock plunged to a low of Rs 94.05 on Wednesday and closed at Rs 96.50. We maintain our sell call and target on the stock.

We have a sell position onReliance Industriesbelow Rs 823.15 with a target of Rs 790. The stock touched a low of Rs 823.10 on Wednesday and closed at Rs 825.25. We maintain our sell call and price target on the stock.
