Bajaj Auto has moved near the top of its trading range at Rs 1,448.35. The stock has been moving in a narrow range for over two weeks. If it manages to cross the resistance at Rs 1,450 the stock can touch Rs 1,500.
Almost all the bank stocks fell post announcement of a rate hike by the central bank, however, Thursday saw most of them recovering in strength. Bank of Baroda opened at the low of the day but closed higher at Rs 868.55 after touching Rs 874.55. The stock can rebound to Rs 900 if momentum catches up.
CESC has recovered on good volume after falling from a high of Rs 364.90 to Rs 328.90. The stock rebounded on Thursday and closed at Rs 347.95. It can move up to Rs 370 as the selling seems to have receded.
Dish TVwas a buy call above Rs 84.50, which was triggered on Thursday. The stock touched a high of Rs 85.50 and closed the day at Rs 85.20. We maintain our target of Rs 90.
Divis Labwas also a buy call which was triggered above Rs 837.90. The stock touched a high of Rs 841.90 but closed lower at Rs 831.15. We maintain the target of Rs 875.
Exidewas a buy call with a target of Rs 160. The stock touched a high of Rs 153.15 but closed lower at Rs 149.80. We maintain our buy call and the price target.
EKCwas a sell call below Rs 91.55 with a target of Rs 86. The stock touched a low of Rs 87.15 but closed higher at Rs 92.50. Though we maintain the target of Rs 86, we move the stop loss to Rs 93.
Our sell call onTata Motorswas triggered below Rs 965.65. The stock touched a low of Rs 945.50 and closed at Rs 950.70. We maintain our price target of Rs 925.
GAILwas a short sell call below Rs 464.55 with a target of Rs 445. The stock was stronger during the day as it touched Rs 462.45 but closed at Rs 459.05. We continue with our bearish sentiment on the stock and maintain the target.
