9 stocks to watch out for today

The 9 stocks below are the top picks for the day across small-, mid- and large-cap companies that offer a wide array of choices to retail as well as long-term investors.

EKC has seen very high volume on Tuesday which helped it push above the previous high. However, the stock met with selling pressure, which resulted in it closing near the low of the day. The stock can go down further to Rs 86 if it crosses below Rs 91.55.

Reliance Power attempted to cross its previous high but selling across the board resulted in the stock closing lower. If the selling continues the stock can go down to Rs 112.50 if it crosses below Rs 116.60.

In line with automobile sector stocks Tata Motors too fell down by over 3.31 percent. The stock touched a low of Rs 965.65 but closed at Rs 973.05. If the stock goes below Rs 965.65, it can touch its previous low of Rs 925.

GAILwas a short sell call below Rs 464.55 with a target of Rs 445. The stock touched a low of Rs 457.50 on Tuesday and closed the day at Rs 461.20. We continue with our bearish sentiment on the stock and maintain the target.

Jindal Sawwas a sell call below Rs 157.70. The stock touched a low of Rs 157 on Tuesday, but closed the day higher at Rs 159.85. We maintain our target of Rs 151, but move the stop loss to Rs 160.85.

We had given a sell call onPantaloonbelow Rs 336.95 with a price target of Rs 310. The stock dropped to Rs 322.70 on Tuesday and closed at Rs 330. We maintain the price target for the stock.

ACCwas a buy call above Rs 995.05 with a target of Rs 1,040. The stock went up to a high of Rs 1,012.15, but closed the day lower at Rs 993.10. Though we maintain the target, we would move our stop loss to Rs 987.60.

Renuka Sugarswas also a buy call with a target of Rs 80. The stock scaled a high of Rs 75.45 and closed the day at Rs 74.40 on Tuesday. We maintain the price target for the stock.

Educompwas a sell call below Rs 380 and a target of Rs 360. The stock plunged to Rs 365.50 and closed at Rs 368.65 on Tuesday. We maintain our target of Rs 360 for the stock.
