Under-trial prisoner escapes as crude bomb explodes inside Bihar court

A crude bomb exploded inside a civil court in Vashali district of Bihar injuring a lady constable, media reports said. The blast occurred at around 11: 30 am inside the Hajipur court premises where under-trial Sant Lal was being presented. Lal managed to escape in the ensuing chaos. Police teams have been formed to nab the culprits and to arrest the prisoner who escaped. Officials have told CNN-IBN that the two people who threw the bombs were present inside the court premises before the prisoners were presented. Police officials are also taking a headcount of all the prisoners. More details are awaited.
