Twitter salutes Tejas: After three decade long wait, aircraft finally enters service

The wait is finally over. After three decades in the making, several delays and cost escalations, Tejas, India's first indigenously-built aircraft was inducted into the Indian Air Force on Friday. The Light Combat Aircraft, which was under development since 1985, will be part of a new squadron called the "Flying Daggers". Tejas is expected to replace the ageing MIG 21 fighter jets.
