Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai after she complained of “fever and dehydration”. AFP[/caption] The 68-year-old AIADMK chief was taken to Apollo Hospitals in Chennai late Thursday night where her condition is stated to be stable now, the hospital’s Chief Operating Officer Subbiah Viswanathan said, adding she is under observation. “The honourable chief minister of Tamil Nadu was admitted to Apollo Hospitals, Chennai with fever and dehydration,” he said in a release circulated to media by the state government in the wee hours on Friday. “The honourable madam is stable and under observation,” Viswanathan said.
