The recovery of arms cache has come shortly after Indian security forces killed a militant on Sunday in Uri near the Line of Control (LoC) in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir.
"Cordon was laid and search operation started in Kalgai area of Uri this morning following information about the presence of militants in the area," an army official had said.
The civilian population has been evacuated from the area and the operation is still going on," he added.
