Priest pours hot milk on child: UP minister sees but keeps mum

Instead of preventing an individual from using boiling milk to massage himself and a child in the name of social welfare, Uttar Pradesh Transport Minister Durga Prasad Yadav today supported this superstitious and dangerous practice.

"We should participate in this kind of programmes that are held for community welfare," Yadav told IBN7 after attending the function in the state's Chandauli district.

What was shocking as seen in the video above was that neither the minister nor anyone from the crowd stopped the self-styled priest from poring hot milk on the child.

It was ironical to see that even in the 21st century a whole lot of citizens including a lawmaker were blind-folded by meaningless superstitions.
