The explosion reportedly caused damage to the windows of the beauty parlour. A police officer said that suspected militants attacked the 'Rani beauty parlour' at around 3:45 pm near Rajpora Chowk, The Daily Excelsior reported.
A girl, identified as Shubeena, received minor injuries and has been hospitalised, the police official said.
Soon after the attack, the police, army and CRPF arrived on the spot and launched a hunt to nab the attackers.
This comes after three civilians were killed and 30 others, including policemen and paramilitary troopers, were injured in a grenade attack in Pulwama district in south Kashmir last month. Police said militants hurled a grenade near a bus stand in Tral town of Pulwama district.
