A 39-year-old man, identified as Ram Dayal Verma was found hanging from a tree near Parliament House on Thursday morning.

New Delhi: A 39-year-old man, identified as Ram Dayal Verma was found hanging from a tree near Parliament House on Thursday morning.

The man hails from Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh. He was spotted at 7.00 a.m, police informed.

A suicide note was also recovered from his pocket.

"The reason behind his suicide is not known yet. We are also trying to get in touch with police authorities in Madhya Pradesh so that his family can be contacted," Deputy Commissioner of Police Jatin Narwal said.
