CM Devendra Fadnavis orders independent inquiry
Firstpost's Sanjay Sawant reports that CM Devendra Fadnavis has ordered an independent inquiry into the incident. Calling it an 'unfortunate event', the CM said all necessary precautions were taken by the organisers and the venue was evacuted without any incident. No casualties have been reported.
16 fire tenders at the spot, no casualties reported
The fire broke as a performance was going on on the stage. Firstpost's Sanjay Sawant reports 16 fire tenders are now at the spot in efforts to control the fire. No casualties have been reported.

Several VVIP's including politicians and Bollywood film stars are shifted to safe place; while evacuation operation is under way. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis is monitoring the situation from the scene of fire.
The event was attended by Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, actor Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan. Around 20,000 people were present at the venue.
Fire breaks out at 8.20 pm
Massive fire broke at 'Make In India' cultural event in held at Girgaum, Mumbai at around 8.20 pm on Sunday. The programm was started at 7.30 in the evening and was attented by Maharashtra Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
