Jayalalithaa's health: Amit Shah, Arun Jaitley to visit hospital on Wednesday

Chennai: Top BJP leaders Amit Shah and Arun Jaitley will on Wednesday visit Apollo Hospital, where Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa is admitted, the party's state unit said on Tuesday.

"Hon'ble BJP National president AmitShah Avl honb Union minister Arun jaitley Avl to call on Hon'ble TN CM in Apollo Hospital around 5pm tomorrow," BJP state unit president Tamilisai Sounderrajan said on her Twitter page.

Jayalalithaa, 68, was admitted to the hospital on 22 September after she complained of fever and dehydration.

A stream of high-profile visitors, including Governors of Tamil Nadu and Kerala Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao and P Sathasivam, Union minister M Venkaiah Naidu, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi and Chief Ministers of Kerala and Puducherry Pinarayi Vijayan and V Narayanasamy have visited the hospital.
