If Indrani lies, I'll give all evidence in Sheena Bora case to the media, says son Mikhail

A day after former CEO of INX Media, Indrani Mukerjea was arrested for the murder of Sheena Bora, her son in Guwahati said that there were conflicts between the two women. Mikhail Bora also confirmed that Indrani was his and Sheena's mother.

When asked whether Indrani and Sheena had any reason for conflict, he said,"Yes, many times." However, he refused to specify what the arguments between the two were regarding.

He told CNN-IBN that he didn't believe that the murder had anything to do with property or money.

"I want her to reveal everything from her mouth..After 31 September when I come to know that she has admitted everything. If she lies, I will give every evidence. I have all the evidence and photos. I will provide it to the media," he said.

Speaking to Times Now, Bora said that his sister had been living with him and his grandparents in Guwahati for a long time and Indrani had been living in Mumbai. He said that Sheena had gone to Mumbai to study in St Xavier's college after which she had been working in Mumbai.

"In 2012 she came here for a wedding of her friend. After that she has no contact," he said.

Mikhail said that he had always asked his mother where his elder sister was but had received vague answers.

"She always replied she was abroad. She said she (Sheena) had got a job there," he told the channel.

Bora told CNN-IBN that he had asked a friend of Sheena's for some way to get in touch with her, but was told that she wasn't in the US. He said that when he asked Indrani for some means to get in touch with her, he was told by Indrani had settled down and didn't want to get in touch with him.

He said he had confronted his mother when she had come to Guwahati in September last year about his elder sister's whereabouts.

"In September also when Indrani Mukerjea came here I asked her where she was," he said, adding she had maintained that Sheena was abroad.

He said that he had stopped asking questions about Sheena since he was dependent on funds from Indrani to take care of his ailing grandparents and she had threatened to cut him off.

Indrani was arrested on Tuesday on charges of having murdered Sheena. The police has claimed that Indrani had paid her chauffeur to murder Sheena and dispose of the body.

"The last time I contacted her (Sheena) was in February 2012. She lost contact with everybody after that. Her Facebook account was deactivated in December 2011, after that there's been no contact," Mikhail said.

Mikhail said that he wouldn't comment on the case in any way since Indrani had just been arrested, but said he wanted to ensure that justice was delivered.

"I want justice that's it. She's my elder sister. A innocent girl cannot be murdered like this...I believe our Indian system will give us justice...My sister was closer to me than my mother...My mother was not there with me, " he said.

Bora said he was aware about the relationship between Sheena and Peter Mukerjea's son from another marriage but refused to comment on it. He said that he had decided to call himself Indrani's brother since their financial condition was poor.

According to reports. Indrani's chauffeur took the police to a location in Lonavala where the alleged partial skeletal remains of Sheena were recovered. Indrani is presently in police custody till 31 August as police attempt to ascertain more details. Sheena had gone missing since 2012 after which a missing person's complaint had been filed with the Mumbai Police. (Read the unusual theories on the Sheena Bora case here)
