Suzette Jordan’s stereotype-defying statement in an interview to BBC in 2013 reveals her zeal to live a free life despite going through a terrible tragedy. She died at the age of 40, on Friday morning of a combination of meningitis and encephalitis in a hospital in Kolkata.
