Hunting HIV: Is PrEP the ultimate weapon to win our war against this deadly lentivirus?

This video investigates the HIV preventative measure PrEP, which could possibly turn the tide on new infection rates. Ranging from demonstration trials to stigma imposed on high-risk groups such as men who have sex with men and sex workers, we discuss the path to accelerate the fight against HIV and to hopefully end HIV epidemic by 2030.

In India alone, around 86,000 new HIV infections occurred in 2015. India has the third largest HIV epidemic in the world with a prevalence rate estimated at 0.26 percent. This figure is small compared to most other middle-income countries but because of India's massive population (1.2 billion), this equates to 2.1 million people living with HIV.
