Horrific! Indore man arrested for inserting lock into wife's genitals

Sometimes news is stranger than fiction. A resident of Indore has been arrested for piercing his wife’s genitals and inserting a lock daily over fears that she was being unfaithful to him. Reuters[/caption] Sohan Lal, a mechanic by profession, had allegedly pierced his wife’s genitals in 2008 and would allegedly insert a lock whenever he was out of home allegedly in order to ensure that his wife remained faithful to him, the Times of India reported . The incident came to light when his wife attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison and was taken to a hospital for treatment, where doctors noticed the piercings and informed the police. In her complaint to the police the woman has said that her husband had drugged her and then pierced her genitals in 2008. Her husband would insert a small lock daily before leaving for work and would open it only on return, the Indian Express reported. The woman had attempted to commit suicide after Sohan Lal reportedly attempted to sexually abuse their eldest daughter. The police has arrested the man and booked him under sections of the law for cruelty and voluntarily causing harm.
