New Delhi: A first-year male student of a private engineering college in Gurgaon is fighting for his life in an ICU after he was reportedly found drugged and unconscious with multiple injuries outside the college premises.

The classmates of the victim, who hails from Delhi, alleged that some seniors may have beaten him up, CNN-IBN reported.

"The college management immediately rushed him to Sunrise Hospital, Gurgaon, where he has been kept on ventilator, and his condition is said to be critical"— the Times of India reported.

Family members of the boy alleged that the victim went to give Math exam but was found unconscious outside the premises during the break. They alleged that the first semester student was poisoned before being beaten up by seniors, the Times of India story said.

No arrests have been made so far.
