DHE Odisha Degree Admissions 2017: Second merit list released, check at dheodisha.gov.in

The Department of Higher Education (DHE) in Odisha on Wednesday released the second selection list for plus three admissions, reported NDTV. The students can check the list at the official website, dheodisha.gov.in.

As per the new schedule, admissions for the degree programs will begin on Thursday. Students who have successfully made it to the second selection will need to report for admission to the allotted college on 13 and 14 July.

The DHE will send intimation letter to the selected applicants through SMS (if the mobile number is registered with Common Application Form) or through e-mail, The Times of India reported. On the other hand, the colleges will also display the names of the selected candidates on their notice boards.

The students or their parents can call at the toll-free number (155335 or 1800-345-6770) to confirm whether they have been shortlisted.

According to NDTV, the DHE will release the third list for granting admission to degree courses on 18 July and classes will begin on 24 July 2017.

Applications for around 2,17,973 seats across 834 colleges were invited by the DHE Odisha in the e-admission process. As of now, 1,24,748 seats have been filled.

Steps to check DHE Odisha second selection list:

  • Go to the official website at dheosdisha.gov.in.
  • Click on the DHE Odisha +3 result 2017 link.
  • Enter your registration number, password and date of birth.
  • Your allotment result will be displayed.
