Delhi shocker: Senior female exec arrested for torturing 15-yr-old maid

In a shocking tale of abuse and violence, Delhi police have rescued a 15-year-old domestic help who was being tortured by her employer in a Vasant Kunj apartment in South Delhi.

According to CNN-IBN, Delhi police have registered an FIR against one Vandana Dhir on charges of assault and bonded labour.  The report adds that Dhir works in a private company at Noida at a senior position and lives with her 85 year-old mother. Dhir was arrested on Tuesday morning.

The teenager who belongs to Jharkhand alleged that she  beaten up every day. According to an NDTV report, the victim was also attacked by the employer's dog who bit her. However according to the police, the dogs did not bite the victim.

The NDTV report also adds that when the police arrived at the house to rescue the girl, Dhir's mother refused to open the door. When they did manage to get in, "young girl was found naked, with stab wounds and bite marks all over her body and a deep gash on her forehead," adds the report on NDTV.

Currently the victim is being treated at Safdurjung Hospital. The teenager told the police that she was working with her employers for the past one year and was beaten up beaten up almost every day as they were not satisfied with her work.
