Delhi court acquits four of gangrape after sex worker admits to false complaint

New Delhi: Four men have been acquitted by a Delhi court of the charge of raping a woman after she admitted she was a sex worker and had lodged a false complaint in a fit of rage when they refused to pay her money. However, in her statement before the magistrate and during her deposition in sessions court, she resiled from her statement and said she was a call girl and had lodged a false complaint in anger as they did not give her full payment, it said.
