Dawood Ibrahim's nephew Alishah's wedding: Paltry police presence and a heavy entourage

The marriage of Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar's son Alishah Parkar to Ayesha Nagani has been the talk of Mumbai ever since a blurry picture of their nikah invitation started doing the rounds. It was also reported that Dawood himself would attend the ceremony via skype.

On Wednesday morning, Firstpost caught a glimpse of a well-groomed and garlanded Alishah, getting out of the Parkar home in Madanpura, near Mumbai Central, and entering a car to head to the Rasool mosque for the nikah. He had a heavy entourage.

Firstpost photographer Sachin Gokhale noticed a Mumbai police jeep, which was standing far away from the main action. However, they did not wish to be photographed.

When the press tried to click Alishah's pictures, his entourage tried to stop them but the groom didn't mind. There were about 60 people with Alishah, escorting him to the mosque.

Police sources have informed Firstpost that the guests for the nikah included Chota Rajan's wife and oil mafia member Mohammad Ali.

There have been no updates on whether Dawood attended the wedding via Skype.
