The wait for anxious students will come to an end, as CBSE class X results are to be released today at 4 pm. Results for the Chennai region were announced on Tuesday. Under the CCE system,(Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation), introduced in 2009, students will be assigned grades instead of marks.
Students can log onto the following websites to check their results: www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in, and www.cbse.nic.in. They also have the option of getting their results on e-mail after registering themselves on these websites.
Besides the Internet, provisions have also been made for students to get their results via phone. MTNL users can dial 91 - 11 - 24357276, 011-24357276 or 011-28127030 to get their results. Users of other services can dial the following numbers: 55530 for Idea , 1255536 for BSNL, 54321223 for Tata Docomo and 54321202 for Airtel users.
However it must be noted that these dialing services are not free and students will be charged 30 Paisa per minute for accessing results.
And for those who can't afford the call charges, results can also be accessed via text message. Students can send the following message: "cbse10 (roll number)" to the number 9212357123. SMS charges will be 50 paisa.
