Security forces killed three militants on Tuesday morning when a group of militants tried to sneak in from Pakistan through the International Border near a border outpost in Samba district of Jammu.
The three militants were killed following a "heavy firing exchange" with the Border Security Force (BSF). According to ANI, the firing is over and the area is being sanitised.

The BSF noticed some suspicious movement in the general area of Border Out Post Chamliyal in Samba, Jammu and Kashmir. The area was immediately cordoned off. When challenged, BSF patrol was fired upon by miscreants holed up in a tube well pumphouse, reported ANI.
According to reports, three BSF jawans were injured in the gunbattle with the group of militants infiltrating the border.

The infiltration bid on the border in Jammu came amid a fierce gunbattle between security forces and heavily armed militants who opened fire on an army camp in the garrison town of Nagrota near Jammu.
