The registration for All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) MBBS 2019 entrance exam began on Friday (30 November). Getty images[/caption] The basic registration process for the annual exam will continue till 3 January 2019 and formalities related to the final registration process will continue until March, 2019. The status of the candidates’ application (Accepted or Not Accepted) will be updated on the AIIMS website on 7 January. Any discrepancies in the registration form that are not accepted can be corrected between 8 January and 18 Janauary. This year, AIIMS has decided to adopt a two-stage registration process for the exams. Candidates need to complete a basic registration six months before the exam, after which a final registration is to be completed a few months before the exam. The interested candidates who wish to apply for the exam can visit the official website of AIIMS exams - aiimsexams.org. The exam will be held for admission in MBBS courses for AIIMS New Delhi, Bathinda, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Deogarh, Gorakhpur, Jodhpur, Kalyani, Mangalagiri, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Rae Bareli, Rishikesh and Telangana campuses. The candidates who have passed class 12 examination or its equivalent, or are appearing in the same, may apply. The candidates should have compulsorily studied subjects including English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and scored a minimum 60 percent marks (50 percent for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped candidates) in aggregate. The Exam pattern of AIIMS MBBS 2019 includes 60 questions each for Chemistry, Physics and Biology, 10 questions under aptitude and 10 under logical thinking.
