US Open champion to get record $2.6 million prize money

The US Tennis Association has announced that the men’s and women’s singles champion of the 2013 US Open would get a record $2.6 million as prize money. The total prize money has been increased from $25.5 million in 2012 to $34.3 million in 2013, reports Xinhua.
