Two naxals surrender in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: Two Maoists, including a woman, surrendered before police in the naxal-hit Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh today, police said. The ultras from Mad region in south Bastar fled from their camp early this morning and surrendered as they were disappointed by the alleged high-handedness of the senior cadres, said Narayanpur additional superintendent of police OP Sharma in Raipur today.[caption id=“attachment_1291623” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] ![Maoists menace. They will be rehabilitated as per the policies of the state government, he added. According to the sources, the duo was active in Abhujmad region, considered as the stronghold of naxals, and were involved in several crimes, including loot, arson and attacks on policemen. PTI
