Chennai: Low cost airliner SpiceJet today announced appointment of Kaneswaran Avili as its chief commercial officer with effect from 1 April 2014. Avili, who holds 12 years experience in Asia, was part of the start up team of AirAsia in 2001, where he played a pivotal role in the airline’s cross border expansion into Thailand and Indonesia.[caption id=“attachment_1379285” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  SpiceJet aircraft. AFP[/caption] “Kanesh’s joining is part of an ongoing refresh of SpiceJet’s management team, with further announcements to be made in coming weeks,” SpieceJet Chief Operating Officer Sanjiv Kapoor said in a statement.
