Sonia meets KBC winner Sushil Kumar

New Delhi: Congress president Sonia Gandhi today met Sushil Kumar, a teacher from Bihar’s Motihari district who won Rs 5 crore in the popular TV game show Kaun Banega Crorepati. Kumar, who has been declared as the ambassador of the country’s flagship social sector scheme—Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA)—met Gandhi on Wednesday, sources said.[caption id=“attachment_131901” align=“alignleft” width=“380” caption=“Congress president Sonia Gandhi. On Monday, Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh had declared Kumar as the ambassador of the country’s rural employment scheme.
