Shehla Masood case: Judicial custody of accused extended till 18 May

Shehla Masood case: Judicial custody of accused extended till 18 May

Indore: A special CBI court today extended till 18 May the judicial custody of all the five accused in the murder case of RTI activist Shehla Masood. [caption id=“attachment_301277” align=“alignleft” width=“380” caption=“Screengrab from IBNlive.com”] ![](https://images.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/ShehlaMasood_CNNIBN.jpg "ShehlaMasood_CNNIBN") [/caption] Bhopal-based interior designer Zahida, her assistant Saba Farooqui and three alleged shooters, namely Saquib Ali ‘Danger’, Irfan and Tabish Khan were produced before the special CBI court of Judicial Magistrate Dr Shubhra Singh here today, who extended their custody. The CBI plea of extending the judicial custody of the five accused was accepted by the court. Zahida is accused of plotting the killing of the 32-year-old activist, allegedly over the latter’s growing “closeness” with BJP MLA Dhruv Narayan Singh. Shehla was shot dead outside her residence at posh Koh-e-Fiza locality in Bhopal on 16 August 2011. PTI
