Jammu, Oct 15 (IANS) Five children and two others sustained injuries Wednesday when a school van they were travelling in fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
The accident took place in the afternoon in Ramban district.
A senior police officer told IANS here: “Five students of a primary school and two teachers were injured when a school van carrying them went out of the driver’s control and fell into a gorge at Khari (Banihal) in Ramban district.”

“The injured were shifted to sub-district hospital in Banihal town and doctors described the condition of some of the injured as critical.”
