Sania and Rodionova saved four breakpoints in the match and converted five of the chances they got. They will now fight it out with Kazakhstan’s third-seeded pair of Yaroslava Shvedova and Galina Voskoboeva for a place in the final. Rodionova had beaten Sania in the 2010 Commonwealth Games women’s singles final. PTI
