Puttaparthi: The condition of godman Sathya Sai Baba , who was admitted to Sathya Sai Super Speciality Hospital at Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh with breathing and heart problems on 28 March, remains critical. The spiritual leader, 85, is suffering from multi-organ failure, the doctors have said on Thursday.

“Sri Sathya Sai Baba continues to be in a very critical state of health. Most of his organs are not responding,” said a medical bulletin issued by the hospital. The condition of his liver and his low blood pressure were causes of concern, it added. He continues to be on ventilation. PTI
