New Delhi: BIG RTL, a television joint venture between Reliance Broadcast Network and RTL Group, is set to launch first action entertainment channel Thrill and promises to treat the audiences with world class daring, electrifying and international adventurous shows dubbed in Hindi.

The channel is due to launch in the first quarter of financial year 2012-13. “We are excited to offer India its first action entertainment Channel, THRILL, which will showcase world-class international content, dubbed in Hindi,” Tarun Katial, CEO, Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd, said in a statement.
“The channel fills a need gap that exists in the entertainment landscape and we are confident that our proposition, backed by consumer insights, will resonate excellently with viewers and marketers alike,” Katial added.
Big RTL has signed strategic deals with various leading international content providers for a variety of genres like action reality, action thrillers, fighting and wrestling championships, shocking, never seen before films, extreme sports, late night entertainment and a robust library of hit Hollywood action movies, all dubbed in Hindi.
It has teamed up with Reliance Digital TV, direct-to-home service provider, to distribute Thrill.
